May Blog Update!

Hello Readers!

It's a new month, so it's time for a new blog update!

If I'm counting correctly, this should already be the 7th monthly blog update!

If I'm not counting correctly, don't blame me! I'm here to write, not do math! I'll leave the math to someone like Negurk.

Hopefully, these monthly updates have been enjoyable for you, as that's the reason I write them! I've said it in a past blog post, but if you have any ideas or suggestions for these posts, just leave a comment. Maybe there are things you like about them and want to see more of, or maybe there are things you don't like and want to see changed, let me know!

Progress on the next book is moving along smoothly, although sometimes it feels like it's moving slower than a zombie.

Speaking of zombies, did you notice Alex never sees them in the newer books? Just like the games, things that were scary and tough at the beginning of the game get replaced with even more frightening and tougher things! So what happened to them? I like to think that their numbers eventually dwindled until they were pushed out of the area by the more fearsome foes of the Hallow and Corruption.

This quote from the next book shows that despite their extensive experience, Alex and Maxwell are constantly running into deadlier foes and find themselves outmatched...

"With all the horrific monsters we had faced, there always seemed to be a pattern, a deadly dance we had to play until we eventually won. With this creature, there was nothing."

While I try not to spoil too much of the next book, them facing a horrific monster was a given!

With that, I'm off to write some more.
