September Blog Update

 Hello Readers!

Back again with another monthly update, but this one will have a minor spoiler in it for the next book!

If you don't want anything spoiled until the book title is announced, stop here!

I'll keep this post short and leave you with this description of the new environment Maxwell and Alex found themselves in:

"Soon, the humidity became a heavy curtain that we had to push out of the way as much as we did the gnarled mess of vines and plant life. The change was gradual, but it was clear that we were no longer in a “traditional” forest. As the distant calls of creatures grew more hostile, their whoops and hollers began to drown out the more playful birds. The canopy thickened to the point of only allowing patches of sunlight through in glowing beacons that gave us some amount of reference in the madness of plants. Our hands no longer reached for trees and branches to steady ourselves and instead favored the hilts of our weapons.

Only one word could describe the type of environment we were in;"
